The company was started by its founder Michael F. Walsh in 1925 delivering for a stable in Governeur, NY. Operating as a horse and buggy operation he was hauling groceries, milk and laundry and expanded his business to Canton, Potsdam and Massena, NY where he later added snow plowing for the St Lawrence County. In the 1930's he began hauling general freight from Massena, NY to New Jersey for The ALCOA plant which is situated in Massena, NY. As his company grew he added tractor trailers and was eventually granted ICC authority to go into 10 Northeastern States. Mike was a staunch, proud man who didn't mind working 7 days a week.

Francis E. Walsh began sweeping floors at the age of 10 and worked his way up to a driver by the age of 16. When Francis returned from his tour of duty with the Navy in 1951, he began to take a more active part in the administrative duties in the company and expanded the company by adding more equipment, terminals and warehousing. Francis retired from the company in 1995 but couldn't be away from the industry all together. Only 3 months after retirement he joined the company again as a driver.

Michael H. Walsh started with the company the same way his father did. He started sweeping floors and worked his way up and opened a terminal in Watertown, NY after he attended college. After the terminal in Watertown was well established he moved back to Massena to help his father run the business and prepare for his retirement. Mike continued to expand the company by purchasing additional equipment and concentrating on Full Truck Load service. To complement the Full Truck Load service, Mike started a brokerage operation to provide more services to our customers. Through many tough times, Mike is still at the reins of a very successful trucking company.

M. Justin Walsh also started the company the same way the previous generations had. At an early age he started sweeping the floors and working in the shop and the dock. Justin graduated from Elmira College and is based out of Syracuse, NY. Justin was a key figure in the start up success of the brokerage his father implemented and continues to service many customers while aggressively searching for new ones.
